Dragon Tree Bonsai Nursery

The place looks non descript when parking but once you park and enter, it goes on forever. They have enormous variety of trees. All sizes from tiny to huge. I went in to look to find one tree and left with five plus a couple pots. I’m from Texas and will be coming back to visit each year I’m here. Robert was very helpful and friendly. They have a variety of pots for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Dragon Tree Bonsai for your trees.

It all started with a deep dive on bonsai care to realize that it was time to upgrade Ginny (just thought of that name—might be the official name) from her nursery pot. I’ll be real with you—I never took the time to look into the resiliency, artistry, flexibility(one word WIRES), and creativity that came with the life of a bonsai…nor did I know that Ginny could look so gorgeous. I had her tucked into a nursery pot and buried of her body. Hiding her beauty from the world of my backyard. She was content and cared for but was she being shown off like the goddess she is. She’s stepped out of her shell and showing off her assets. I couldn’t be more grateful for the humble and knowledgeable bonsai EXPERT Robert for taking the time to explain, model, teach, and provide me with practical advice and practice throughout the process! His nursery is otherworldly and tranquil—you’ll be amazed by the atmosphere and the sheer beauty of each bonsai existing in this space. Very mind blowing experience to learn something new as a gardener from someone with a wealth of knowledge in the bonsai world!

I absolutely loved this nursery! The mature bonsai were so awesome to see. They have many options for the experienced bonsai artist to beginner, like my husband. The prices were very reasonable. They were very friendly and helpful . I would recommend this nursery to anyone who loves the art of bonsai.
